A lot of people suffered from magic and occult practices that spread widely across the country after the collapse of the USSR. The Counseling Center was created on the basis of Saint Petersburg Orthodox Doctors Society named after St. Luke (Voyno-Yasenetsky) in 2000 to provide assistance to victims of occult influences and totalitarian sects. The process of comprehensive rehabilitation consists of a number of therapeutic and educational steps, combined into three types of assistance – spiritual, medical and psycho-pedagogical. The report tells about 10 years of careful work that was done to restore the health of the people of St Petersburg.
